Judges need to step up to the plate in Family Court and not just take the easy way out!

I want to believe that judges can help change the system. When they are the sole decider in cases requiring only a Preponderance of Evidence, judges should weigh the constitutionality of their decision. My opinion is that they assume the states policies are the most prudent deciding factor and they wipe their hands of the whole court room mess it stirs up.
